How recommendations work
Every recommendation starts with your answers to a short questionnaire about your game. We compare your skill level, playing style, and swing against our racket data, then weigh the specific traits you're prioritizing — power, control, spin, stability, or comfort — along with your budget.
Each racket gets scored on how well it fits, and the closest matches are what you see, along with the reasons behind each one.
What data we consider
We ask about your skill level, how often you play, your swing shape and playing style, what's currently holding your game back, whether you'd rather have more power or more precision, whether you prefer easier handling or more stability, any arm or joint discomfort, and your budget.
That's the full list — nothing beyond what actually helps us pick the right racket, and no account required.
How partners fit in
Cross Court HQ may work with local retailers, tennis centers, and other partners to help players take the next step. Those partnerships can help players find demos, stringing, lessons, court time, and local buying options.
But our recommendation experience starts with the player. Your matches are based on your game, goals, preferences, and equipment needs.
Why partners don't control matches
Your racket matches are generated from your answers and our racket data — nothing else. Partners don't pay for placement, and no partner can move a racket up in your results or get added to your matches because they carry it.
If a partner happens to carry the racket we recommend, that's useful information for your next step, not a reason it was recommended.
How local retailers and centers help after your recommendation
Once you have your matches, local partners can help you go from a racket name to a racket in hand. Depending on what's available near you, that can mean demoing a few options before you buy, getting a racket restrung, booking a lesson, reserving court time, or simply knowing where to buy the one you chose.
We only show these options after your recommendation, never before it.
